In our days we tend to get books more often online. Purchasing books offline is a dying trend. Book store sales are an all time low while internet booksales are rising. Nonetheless there will always be people who love to look for books or just visit a book store once in a while. Selling your own books can be very difficult. And, unless you made a deal with a major publisher, chances are yoour book won't ever get listed on a major bookstore. You could ask independent book sellers to sell your books. Make a list with all independent book stores from your area and go pay a visit to each of them and ask them to sell your book. Some big bookstores might ask for a marketing plan, and even details on how you are promoting your book, and other things. But most local bookstores don't do it. Make a good first impression because initial contact is important. Sell anywhere from 2 to 8 books at a small price to each bookstore. A low price is important as book stores always add their own profit and if they sell your book, any bookstore will always contact you to ask for more books. Selling books, and developing a marketing plan will help you reach the next step.
